    The Portland Timbers took a big step in 2012 preseason training in Southern California. Portland went unbeaten in four matches, three wins and a draw, outscoring MLS opponents eight goals to one. Fitness levels are rising and partnerships are forming. Things look to be on track as the camp moves on.
